The Little Lake Wissota Stewardship Project is a community based watershed initiative co-sponsored by the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company and the Chippewa County Land Conservation & Forest Management Committee. Through this project, cooperating landowners in the watershed sponsor sites and agree to maintain permanent conservation practices to protect and improve lake water quality. The 9-Key element plan for the Yellow River watershed is expected to be completed in 2021.
